Commissary Ridge Mountain Hut
Located at 8,000 ft,
this hut offers spectacular views of the
Grand, Middle and South Tetons. To access, skiers gain
200 feet of elevation in the first 3 miles along
an unplowed forest road in S. Leigh Canyon,
then ascend 1,000 feet in the last mile to gain the
ridge. Novices appreciate the low elevation
and ease of access, while more experienced
skiers enjoy the 2,000 vertical feet of skiable terrain on Beards
