Teton Pass Tour Options
Teton Pass offers large open bowls and long ridges for ample opportunity to work on deep powder technique. For novices, a tour on the south side of Teton Pass provides an easy approach to low-angled slopes for your first telemark turns. Advanced skiers can enjoy Mail Cabin Canyon while experts can climb and enjoy steep descents off Mt. Taylor.
Edelweiss & Columbia Bowls Circuit
Starting from the top of Teton Pass at 8,400', this tour is catered to suit all ability levels. A moderate skin leads to your first descent. Then climb to 9,141' where we strip the skins and ski 800' of open bowl powder skiing. A climb back up leads to opportunities to ski other open bowls and tree runs with the option to finish the tour in the Columbia Creek drainage at 7,100'. Ability level: beginner to intermediate.
Mail Cabin Canyon
This is the perfect tour into the heart of the Snake River Range for those seeking a more adventurous day. The tour begins at 7,100' and gradually climbs for two miles to the base of multiple 1,000' open bowls. Link a tour from the East Fork to the West Fork or finish the day with the Do-It Shoots for an extraordinary descent back to the car. World-class tree skiing will harbor great powder weeks after a storm. Ability level: intermediate to advanced.
Mt. Glory
This is the Teton Pass iconic tour, perfect for those with alpine gear or snowboards, or those wishing to spend the day touring in the alpine terrain of the southern Tetons. The tour starts with a 1,600' boot pack from the top of Teton Pass to the top of Mt. Glory at 10,086'. From here, a myriad of descent options allow for multiple runs finishing the day with a descent into Coal Creek. Ability level: intermediate to advanced.
Mt. Taylor
The crown jewel of the southern Tetons, Mt. Taylor rises about all the other peaks on Teton Pass at 10,352'. This strenuous tour starts at 7,100' and participants should be in good physical condition ready for day of ski mountaineering. Descent options are varied and with the use of climbing skins, skiers can ascend for multiple laps. Ability level: advanced to expert.
Backcountry Safety Clinics
This tour focuses on how to travel safely in the winter mountain environment. We offer hands-on training using avalanche transceivers, snow-pit analysis, map reading and route-finding skills. You can extend the educational experience into an overnight hut tour if you like. Price includes educational materials.
Grand Teton National Park Tour Options

Intermediate to advanced skiers can join us in Grand Teton National Park for the challenge of a good climb and a long ski run. Whether you choose Maverick Ridge, 25' Short or Mt. Albright (10,552') you will enjoy incredible views of the Grand Teton and Jackson Hole before the 3,000 foot descent to the valley floor.
25' Short & Maverick Mountain
These locals' favorites provide 3,000 feet of pure powder skiing bliss. A full-day of hiking and skiing in the mountain coupled with amazing views of the Grand Tetons will provide an unparalleled experience. Skiers should be in good physical condition and expect a strenuous tour, ascending 3,000 feet before stripping the skins for the descent. Hearty skiers can make laps and advanced skiers can finish with The Turkey Chute, descending into Avalanche Canyon and across Taggart Lake to the trailhead. Ability level: intermediate to advanced/expert.
Mt. Albright & Wimpy's Knob
Yet another fabulous ski mountaineering descent in the Tetons, Mt. Albright, at 10,552' is an easily accessible peak to ski in a day. For those in good physical condition, laps can be made on select slopes with an exciting finish off of the summit.
Ability level: intermediate to advanced/expert.
Cross-Coutnry Skiing & Snowshoeing
Join us for a memorable day of cross-country skiing or snowshoeing in Grand Teton National Park. Nothing can be as unforgettable as gliding or snowshoeing through snowy forests and meadows framed by the Tetons. You will experience first hand why this area is so well loved by photographers and outdoor enthusiasts.
Our friendly naturalist guides are happy to break trail for you. En route you will learn to identify animal tracks in the snow. Learn about the science of snow as we dig in the snow pack and show you snow crystals through a hand-lens. We will teach you how to stay warm and comfortable in a winter environment. Price includes a deli lunch, hot drinks, snowshoes, poles, pack and water. You provide warm hiking boots or cross-country boots and skis. Bring your camera and extra warm layers.
Day Tour Details
All of our day tours are private and catered to you and your group’s ability level and interests. We are experts at providing instruction in avalanche awareness and backcountry travel, and will help you improve your technique in off-piste terrain.
Day tours include a hearty lunch, plenty of snacks and hot drinks, avalanche transceivers, shovels and a full day of guiding and instruction. You need to bring skis, boots, poles, climbing skins and a day-pack with your personal items. All equipment can be rented locally.

Downhill Tours and Backcountry Safety Clinics:
$275/person, $360/couple, $420/group of 3 ($140 person), $475/group of 4 ($118 per person)
Cross-Country Tours:
$200/person, $250/couple, $65 each additional person
Tours do not include guide gratuity.
