Special thanks for the food, which was amazingly good considering it had to be hauled up to the yurts and cooked in an "efficiency" kitchen! Erika is an outstanding guide and a wonderful person. She worked from before we got up to when we went to sleep, never resting. Our (albeit flatlander) awe only grew as we slowly came to grips with the fact that she could beat us uphill carrying her Subaru on her back. She was patient, caring and always cheerful. We can only hope that she enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed having her as our guide."
