Winter Camping

Winter campingImagine yourself here, warm and comfortable on your own winter camping adventure. Winter is a great time to explore the mountains because there are so few people out there. Gone are the crowds and bugs of the summer months. Winter offers the opportunity to observe nature in a peaceful blanket of snow.

We offer private, customized winter camping trips in Grand Teton National Park or the Jedediah Smith Wilderness. We will show you how to build a quinzee, quigloo, or snow cave, as well as how to stay warm and comfortable living in the outdoors. We build our camps to access good powder skiing or rolling touring terrain. Winter camping trips can also be combined with a yurt trip to offer you both experiences.
